In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and in alignment with Governor Polis’ Executive and Public Health Orders as well as Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and Centers of Disease Control guidance to combat the virus, the Colorado Department of Natural Resources (DNR) announced today that its Executive Offices and the large majority of its Divisions both in the Denver metro area and statewide have closed their offices to in-person visits until
April 11 but mostly likely longer, but remain accessible via phone and email and open for business.

“The Colorado Department of Natural Resources remains committed to being available to our stakeholders and members of the public during this unprecedented state emergency,” said Dan Gibbs, Executive Director. “While our offices are closed to the public, thanks to technology our employees are still doing their regular work from home and we have staff on call and available to the public via email and phone on any questions or needs related to the management of our natural resources, access to outdoor recreation, and any questions related to permits, regulations and oversight.”
