Use the state of Colorado jobs website to submit an online application. Make sure to attach all required documents and complete your application by the posted deadline. View careers.colorado.gov to learn how to apply.
 

  1. Minimum qualifications: All applications submitted are reviewed to identify the applicants who meet the minimum qualifications for the job.
  2. Comparative analysis process: Depending on the position, applicants may go through a comparative analysis. The type of process will depend on the position being filled as well as the number of qualified applicants.
  3. Interview: Final candidates complete an interview with the hiring manager and a panel of interviewers.
     

The Colorado Constitution, Article XII, Section 13 requires that applicants for state classified government jobs must be residents of Colorado, unless the work to be performed is primarily within 30 miles of the State of Colorado’s border. Occasionally, this requirement is waived for a recruitment to a specific position, not an individual.
